About Me

Hello! I’m a Cognitive Science Researcher and UX Specialist with a deep passion for understanding how people interact with technology—and using that knowledge to design better, more inclusive digital experiences. Over the past five years, I’ve worked on projects that explore human perception, augmented reality, and usability research, all with the goal of making technology more accessible and meaningful, especially for diverse and underrepresented audiences.

I am currently nearing the completion of my NSERC CGS-D funded PhD at York University, where I conduct research under Dr. Erez Freud. My work focuses on how humans perceive space—both near and far—and how these perceptual mechanisms influence interactions with the environment.

At the heart of my work is the belief that great design starts with great understanding. I use research-driven insights to inform user experience decisions, ensuring that digital interactions are intuitive, inclusive, and effective. Beyond research, I am dedicated to making both education and technology more accessible. Check out my teaching guide on creating online experiments to support more inclusive research practices. Whether advocating for accessible design or helping others navigate complex ideas, I see accessibility as more than a design principle—it’s a critical tool for meaningful impact.
